How to Get Here
Orcas Island is served by the Washington State Ferries, from Anacortes (about a 2 hour
drive north of Seattle) and from Sidney, B.C. on Vancouver Island. Summer ferry traffic
can be heavy, so travelers are advised to arrive at the ferry terminal well in advance
of departure. For up-to-date ferry information visit Washington State Ferries.You can also take a floatplane from Kenmore Air in Seattle direct to Westsound Marina about 5 minutes from The Homestead. It's about an hour flight looking over coastal inlets and the sparkling Puget Sound.
